Angela Schneider

On a sunny spring morning in 2004, I rolled up to a friend's house in a bedroom community on the outskirts of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She needed me to help save a dog.
His name was Shep and he was a Maremma sheepdog, one of the several big white livestock guardian breeds.
I took this dog back to the city, determined to give him the life and love he needed.
He gave me more than I ever could have imagined.
My life changed forever that day. Shep guided me for 10 years, teaching me a new definition of the word "love."
He crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge in 2014, and Bella now takes her place at my side during the adventure of life.
They both have filled my heart with joy and inspire every click of the shutter release button on my camera - and the name of this venture, Big White Dog Photography.
Our adventures together have led me to a purpose: to ensure dog lovers like you have incredible images that tell the story of your journey with your best fur friend.
Take Big White Dog Photography on your next adventure in the Inland Northwest to document the beautiful bond you share with your dog.
As a recovering journalist and newspaper reporter, I see your interaction in ways another photographer may not - the occasional glances into each other's eyes, the stray scruff of the butt, the Magic Moment that tells me how much you love each other and how much each adventure matters.
Let's create wonderful memories together.
PLEASE NOTE: Big White Dog Photography is LBGTQ2S+ friendly. Black Lives Matter.
