Mallory Battista

Mallory Battista is a visual artist and writer who especially loves painting murals, blacksmithing, creating block prints, and making comics. She has been a professional graphic designer, art gallery manager, and manager of two bookstores, and her love of both art and literature permeates all of her varied creative endeavors. Her efforts with the local blacksmithing club, Columbia Fire & Iron, earned a SAGA grant in 2018, which expanded their ability to teach blacksmithing to the Spokane/CDA community. She has a huge crush on the city of Spokane and is obsessed with public art, book design, bright colors, and exploring truth through humor.
